“Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me;
weep for yourselves and for your children.”

Just as Jesus spoke these words,
at Center Church of Truth in Chicago, we believe that when parents pray for their children
with sincere love and hearts full of compassion, shedding tears before the Lord,
He Himself protects the faith of our children
from the many temptations of this world that seek to lead them away from the truth.
We not only pray for our own children,
but we also lift up the children of our brothers and sisters in Christ--
interceding together with specific and heartfelt prayers.
In doing so, we come to deeply experience what it means to be one family in God,
united by the blood of Jesus.
And when we love one another with one heart and pray together in unity,
we witness the mighty power of the Lord’s salvation at work among us more powerfully than ever.

진실한 사랑과 긍휼의 마음으로
주님 앞에 눈물로 기도할 때
우리 자녀들을 믿음에서 떠나도록
여러가지 모양으로 유혹하는 세상에서
주님께서 친히 연약한 자녀들의 믿음을
지켜주심을 믿습니다.
또한 내 자녀를 위해서 기도할 뿐 아니라
형제 자매의 자녀를 위해서도
구체적으로 함께 기도함을 통해
우리가 예수님의 보혈로 하나된
하나님의 가족임을 깊이 경험하며
우리가 한 마음으로 서로 사랑하며 함께 기도할 때
더 강력하게 역사하시는
주님의 크신 구원의 능력을 경험합니다.
