We warmly welcome you in the love of our Lord as you visit the website of Center Church of Truth in Chicago. I am Pastor Hogun Kim, serving at this church. At Center Church of Truth in Chicago, we strive to be: “A Church That Walks with Jesus, the Head of the Church.” We are the body of Christ, established by the precious blood of Jesus Himself. We acknowledge Jesus as the Head and Owner of the Church. We love Him who dwells within us and strive to follow His guidance and walk with Him 24 hours a day. “A Church That Delights in Prayer.” Prayer is an intimate time of communion with the God who loves us. It is also the channel through which He desires to pour out His grace upon us. Our church prioritizes prayer, holding on to the words, “Could you not keep watch with me for one hour?” We earnestly seek the help of the Holy Spirit to pray continuously, both together at church and individually in our daily lives. “A Church That Hungers for the Word.” The Word of God, contained in all 66 books of the Bible, is unchanging and gives us eternal life. In these last days, when God’s Word is no longer revered as it should be, we are a church that loves, trusts, and obeys the Word that “will not disappear even the smallest letter or the least stroke of a pen until all is fulfilled.” “A Church That Puts Its Heart into Worship.” God is still seeking true worshipers today. With hearts full of gratitude for all the grace He has given us, we cherish worship more than anything. We long to encounter the presence of the Holy Spirit and to offer our worship to the Father in spirit and in truth. “A Church That Longs to Be Filled with the Holy Spirit.” We acknowledge that we cannot live according to God's Word by our own strength or will. We love and depend on the Holy Spirit, who transforms our hearts and empowers us to live according to His Word. We earnestly seek to be filled with Him. “A Church That Strives to Keep the Unity of the Spirit.” We believe that God’s will is for all His people to be united in His love. We strive to maintain this unity by loving, forgiving, and showing compassion to one another. We consider others better than ourselves, rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. “A Church That Proclaims the Gospel of the Cross to the Ends of the Earth.” We love the lost souls whom Jesus loves with His very life. By sharing the love of the cross, we seek to bring our families, neighbors, and people of all nations—each soul more precious than the whole world—from the path of eternal destruction to salvation in Christ. “A Church That Raises Up Workers (Disciples) for the Harvest.” In this age where the harvest is plentiful but the workers are few, we desire to be a church where the Lord raises up His workers—true disciples. Not mere “fans” who seek Jesus only when they need Him, but disciples who take up their cross and follow Him wherever He leads. We especially seek to prepare our next generation—children, youth, and young adults—to be workers (disciples) who will be used to prepare the way of the Lord in these end times. In the will and love of our Lord, we welcome brothers and sisters whom God sends to walk with us. Together as Center Church of Truth in Chicago, where Jesus is the Head, may we grow in our love for the One who dwells within us, walk with Him every hour of every day, strengthen our unity with Him, shine His light into this dark world, and fight the good fight of faith until the day we meet Him again. Rev.Hogun Kim 샬롬! 하나님의 인도하심 가운데 저희 교회 홈페이지를 방문해주신 여러분을 주님의 사랑으로 환영합니다. 저는 시카고 중앙 진리교회를 섬기고 있는 김호근 목사입니다. 저희 시카고 중앙 진리교회는… “교회의 머리되신 사랑하는 예수님과 동행하는 교회입니다.” 예수님께서 당신의 피 값으로 친히 세우신 주님의 몸된 교회로써 예수님께서 교회의 머리되심, 주인되심을 인정하고 내 안에 이미 거하고 계시는 그 분을 사랑하며 그 분의 인도하심을 따르고 그 분과 24시간 동행하기를 힘쓰는 교회입니다. “기도를 즐거워하는 교회입니다.” 기도는 우리를 사랑하시는 하나님과의 친밀한 교제의 시간입니다. 또한 하나님께서 우리에게 주기를 원하시는 모든 은혜의 통로입니다. 저희 교회는 기도에 우선순위를 두고 '네가 한 시간 동안도 깨어 기도할 수 없더냐' 라는 말씀을 붙들고 교회에 함께 모여서, 또 각자의 처소에서 성령님의 도움을 힘입어 전혀 기도하기를 힘씁니다. “말씀을 사모하는 교회입니다.” 성경 66권에 담긴 하나님의 말씀은 영원토록 변치 않으며 우리에게 영원한 생명을 주시는 진리의 말씀입니다. 이 귀한 말씀이 더 이상 존중받지 못하는 이 마지막 시대에 '일점일획도 반드시 없어지지 아니하고 다 이루실' 그 말씀을 사랑하고, 의지하며, 순종하는 교회입니다. “예배에 목숨거는 교회입니다.” 하나님께서는 오늘도 참된 예배자를 찾으십니다. 주님께서 주신 모든 은혜에 감사하는 마음으로, 성령님의 임재안에서 하나님의 사랑을 경험하며 진리로 아버지께 드리는 예배를 가장 소중히 여기고 예배에 목숨거는 교회입니다. “성령하나님으로 충만해지기를 사모하는 교회입니다.” 우리 스스로의 힘과 의지로는 하나님의 말씀대로 살 수 없음을 인정하고 우리의 마음을 변화시키시며 주의 말씀대로 살 수 있게 도우시는 성령하나님을 사랑하고 의지하고 순종하며 그 분으로 충만해지기를 사모하는 교회입니다. “성령의 하나되게 하신 것을 힘써 지키는 교회입니다." 하나님의 뜻은 '모든 성도가 하나님의 사랑으로 하나됨' 임을 믿고 우리 안에 부어주신 하나님의 사랑으로 서로를 사랑하고 용서하며 불쌍히 여기고, 각각 자기보다 남을 낫게 여기며, 우는 자와 함께 울고 즐거워하는 자들과 함께 즐거워하는 교회입니다. “땅끝까지 이르러 십자가 복음을 전하는 교회입니다.” 주님께서 생명다해 사랑하시는 잃어버린 영혼들을 주님의 사랑으로 사랑하며 예수 십자가의 사랑을 전하여 가족과 이웃과 열방 가운데 영원한 멸망을 향하여 가고 있는 천하보다 귀한 한 영혼 한 영혼을 주님께로 인도하는 교회입니다. “추수할 일꾼(제자)가 세워지는 교회입니다.” 추수할 것은 많으나 추수할 일꾼(제자)가 적은 이 시대에, 아버지께서 보내시는 일꾼(제자)가 세워지는 교회입니다. 예수님이 필요할 때만 찾는 "팬"이 아닌 예수님이 어딜 가시든 자기 십자가를 지고 따라가는 일꾼됨(제자됨)을 추구합니다. 특히 우리의 다음 세대들인 어린아이들, 청소년, 젊은이들이 마지막 시대 주님 다시오실 길을 예비하는 일에 쓰임받는 일꾼(제자)로 준비될 수 있도록 힘쓰는 교회입니다. 주님의 뜻 안에서, 주님의 사랑으로, 함께 예수님께서 머리되신 시카고중앙진리교회가 되어, 내 안에 계시는 예수님을 더욱 사랑하고 그 분과 24시간 동행하며, 그 분과의 하나됨을 더욱 공고히 하여 주님의 빛을 어두운 세상에 비추고, 주님을 다시 만날 그 날까지 함께 믿음의 선한 싸움을 싸우실 주님께서 보내주시는 형제 자매님을 환영합니다!
